The 1/12 Anna coins, which are bronze with cupronickel plating served as currency during the British colonial days in India. This particular set consists of 15 coins, each bearing the year 1925.
Produced by both the Calcutta and Bombay mints, these coins display the regal profile of King George V on the obverse. The reverse is adorned with the coin’s value and the year, encircled by beads and framed by a wreath.
A few coins show slight signs of wear, and one has shed its silver coating.
