Elizabeth II Charles & Diana Crown 1981 (UNC)

The 1981 Charles and Diana Crown is a commemorative coin issued to celebrate the marriage of His Royal Highness Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, to Lady Diana Spencer on July 29, 1981. 

The reverse features an iconic double portrait of Charles and Diana looking towards the left, designed by Philip Nathan.
The inscription reads: “H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES AND LADY DIANA SPENCER” and is dated 1981 towards the bottom center.
The obverse features Arnold Machin’s third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscription: “ELIZABETH II D · G · REG · F · D ·.”
